"Nachfolgend meine Stellungnahme zur FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7140 Annex A, Firmware version 39.04.26, Entfernung zum Knotenpunkt der ToT beträgt ca 5km, DSL-Anschluß512/256 kBit/sec. Ich wäre mit der Fritzbox hinsichtlich der Funktionen die sie bietet, sehr zufrieden, wenn nicht folgendes Problem wäre: Die FritzBox kann ich nur mit der Firmwareversion 39.04.26 betreiben. Wenn ich auf die Version 39.04 43 oder 39.04.47 update, synchronisiert die Box nicht mehr. Aus meiner Sicht läßt der Support von AVM sehr zu wünschen übrig."

Als mein Bekannter sich eine Annex A Box gekauft hatte war ich erstaunt wie gross der Geschwindigkeitsunterschied ist. Ich kann wirklich jedem empfehlen lieber ein wenig mehr Geld fur eine echte Annex A Box auszugeben und dann auch vernunfige DSL Geschwindigkeit zu haben."

The best feature for me is the call through function. I do all my overseas calls via Fritzbox with my mobile. I only pay local charges to my house and divert the call via Fritzbox to abroad for free – from anywhere in Thailand.
